Clinton Blames Trump for Tragic Death in Georgia: Fair or Foul Play?

The Blame Game in Full Swing It seems former President Bill Clinton can’t resist playing the blame game when it comes to tragic events linked, however tenuously, to immigration policies. In a recent jab during his campaign tour in Georgia, Clinton suggested that if only the Republicans had allowed proper immigration vetting, young Laken Riley might still be with us today. Huh? Ain’t that a stretch?

Hypocrisy on Parade Let’s get real here: if we’re talking about immigration, nobody has a messier backyard than the Democrats under the Biden administration. With illegal crossings surging to over a million this year alone, according to unofficial estimates, it’s clear that the issue isn’t about one party dropping the ball—it’s about systemic failure. But Clinton seems to forget the chaos unfolding under his party’s watch when he points fingers at former President Trump. He accuses the GOP of sinking a bipartisan deal to score political points, but maybe, just maybe, Trump saw the deal as the lemon it probably was. Why settle for a bad fix, huh?

Are Democrats Really Protecting Us? The Democrats would have us believe they’re all about tough love at the border. Yet, under their “tough” policies, our cities have seen a 33% increase in strain on local resources, buckling under the influx of those seeking asylum. Vice President Kamala Harris, dubbed the informal “border czar,” has hardly lived up to her title. Clinton’s claim that Trump derailed the compromise because he wanted a campaign issue is both ironic and laughable. Isn’t it obvious? The current administration is using the border as their campaign platform while Rome—err, America—burns.

The Bottom Line If the border was indeed properly secured as the Democrats claim, would we still be witnessing these record-breaking numbers of crossings and associated tragedies? I think not. It’s clear that something is rotten in the state of our immigration policy, and no amount of political spin can mask that stench. The real issue is not about who killed what bill but about who is failing to protect American lives and American jobs. And right now, that seems to be on Harris and her team.

So, next time you hear a Democrat lament over immigration woes or pin the blame on Trump, take it with a grain of salt. Better yet, take it as a cue to question, “What are they covering up this time?”
